(Energy Analytics Institute, 4.Aug.2020) — Shell Argentina President Sean Rooney discussed his company’s operations in Argentina amid the Covid-19 pandemic, including commenting on continued and future development of the Vaca Muerta shale formation.
“A lot of economic recuperation post-Covid will come from industry pressures to accelerate the change of energy sources to cleaner sources with less carbon impact,” said Rooney during a virtual interview with Argentina’s media outlet EconoJournal.
“The biggest challenge to oil companies is adapting to the new energy world and the acceleration of this change after Covid,” he added.
