(Energy Analytics Institute, Ian Silverman, 28.Nov.2019) — Bolivia’s Energy Ministry ordered the Nuclear Electricity and Technology Authority (AETN) to reduce electrical rates in the domestic market in “some departments” where payments for services are high.
The ministry referred to departments such as Beni and announced that steps to export energy to markets such as Brazil and Argentina were underway, Bolivia’s Information Agency (ABI) reported 28. Nov.
The ministry also seeks to attract new industries to the regions that have potential to generate additionally employment opportunities.
