Bristow Inks Five Year Deal With BP

(Energy Analytics Institute, Jared Yamin, 31.May.2019) — Bristow Group Inc. signed a new deal with BP plc to support its North Sea operations.

The contract, with a five year primary term, commenced on 13 May, Bristow announced in an official statement.

“This award further builds on Bristow’s success in the region, adding to two additional long-term contracts recently secured operating from our Aberdeen hub,” Matt Rhodes, Director UK & Turkmenistan Oil and Gas said in the statement.

Bristow, from its bases in Aberdeen and Sumburgh, will deliver a aviation solution to BP, the statement said. As a result, new pilot and crew positions are being formed, with existing Sikorsky S-92s utilized combined with fixed-wing support provided through Eastern Airways, to deliver the contract.
