Sener And Pemex To Move Forward With Dos Bocas Refinery
(Energy Analytics Institute, Jared Yamin, 9.May.2019) — Mexico’s President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador announced 9 May 2019 during his morning press conference that Mexico’s Energy Secretariat (Sener) and the country’s state oil company Pemex will move forward with construction of the Dos Bocas Refinery in Tabasco after receiving bids from private companies in excess of $8 billion.

Bolivia Charges 21 Involved In Drillmex Contracting
(Energy Analytics Institute, Ian Silverman, 9.May.2019) — Bolivia’s Public Ministry formally charged 21 persons involved in irregularities in the contracting process related to the Italian company Drillmex and the purchase of three drilling rigs in 2016 for $148.8 million.
