Vélez Galeano resigns from ECOPETROL’s BODs

BOGOTÁ, COLOMBIA (By Ana Sanches, Editores Latin Petroleum, 15.Sep.2026, Words: 101) — Hildebrando Vélez Galeano resigned his position as a member of the ECOPETROL board of directors, effective 15 Sep. 2026.

Vélez Galeano’s decision was announced on 14 Sep. through a special communication with the state-owned company, ECOPETROL said on 15 Sep. in an official statement.

Pursuant to the provisions of ECOPETROL’s by-laws, the board of directors will continue to validly deliberate and adopt decisions with its remaining members.
