GUYANA

— Exxon’s fifth Guyana FPSO set sail w/ production startup on plan for 4Q:26, increasing capacity by 250,000 b/d. [EAI]

VENEZUELA

— Chevron’s agreement in Venezuela aims to expand its heavy oil interest in the Petroindependencia, S.A. JV while it also has rights to develop the adjacent Ayacucho 8 area at the Petropiar, S.A. JV in the Orinoco heavy oil belt or Faja, according to the Houston-based co. [EAI]

NORTH AMERICA

— Chevron Corp. delivered $1.5bn of annual run-rate synergies related to the Hess Corporation acquisition within 1 year of closing, according to Chevron CEO Mike Wirth. [EAI]

— excluding the Middle East, Exxon delivered its highest production in over 2 decades – roughly 4.1 MMboe/d. Exxon said upstream earnings improved, w/ record Permian production of over 1.8 MMboe/d in the 2Q:26 and the absence of operational disruptions in Kazakhstan, partly offset by the Middle East disruptions.
