— Denarius Metals announced a $7mn upsizing of its prepayment facility w/ Trafigura to fund exploration and the acceleration of development activities at its Zancudo project.

MEXICO

— a district judge denied the appeal filed by Navy captain Clímaco Aldape Utrera, who sought to avoid the mandatory pretrial detention order issued against him for organized crime and hydrocarbon-related offenses. He is accused of being part of a corruption network dedicated to fuel trafficking, according to La Jornada.

VENEZUELA

— Venezuela’s interim president Delcy Rodríguez met w/ her economic cabinet to improve public policies that will aid the country’s economic recovery. The meeting defined the “Rebirth 2026” plan, which aims for national development, increased production, and an end to unilateral coercive measures, she said on state TV.
