MEXICO CITY, MEXICO (Fidencio Casillas, Energy Analytics Institute, 23.Jun.2025, Words: 480) — The governing board of the Interoceanic Corridor of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec (CIIT) authorized the assignment of the concession title of the Development Pole for Welfare (PODEBI) Coatzacoalcos II.
This is in favor of the Mexican infrastructure and energy development firm Ursus Energy. With this transfer, URSUS Energy consolidates itself as the new concessionaire, fully assuming the rights and obligations for the development of the liquefied natural gas (LNG) export plant called “Coatzacoalcos-PODEBI LNG.”
