NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA (Pietro D. Pitts, Energy Analytics Institute, 25.Feb.2025, Words: 392) — Located in Baja California, Energía Costa Azul (ECA) LNG Phase 1 continues to target the start-up of commercial operations in spring 2026, while construction at Port Arthur LNG (PALNG) Phase 1 remains on time and on budget, according to Sempra Infrastructure.
ECA Phase 1 is under construction and approximately 90% complete, Sempra Infrastructure said 25 Feb. 2025 in its year-end 2024 webcast presentation. Work is currently focused on pipe testing and insulation, electrical/instrumentation and pre-commissioning activities.
