The project, the Coatzacoalcos II LNG Terminal, aims to achieve a processing capacity of 46 million cubic feet per day (MMcf/d) and will require an investment of around $1.5bn.

Said processing capacity will be developed in 3 phases to optimize economic resources. The first phase is slated to start operations in 2025, sources in Mexico with specific knowledge of the project told Energy Analytics Institute (EAI).
