Corpoelec and IMPSA ink addendum to strategic contract

CARACAS, VENEZUELA (By Piero Stewart, Energy Analytics Institute, 12.Aug.2026, Words: 306) — Venezuela’s interim president Delcy Rodríguez presided over the signing of an addendum to the strategic contract between the National Electric Corporation (Corpoelec) and the Latin American company IMPSA. 

The objective of the contract is to strengthen the National Electric System (SEN) and guarantee a preventative infrastructure recovery plan in the face of the impact of the “super Niño” climate phenomenon.
