(Energy Analytics Institute, 25.Oct.2024) — New Fortress Energy Inc.’s (NFE) initial Fast LNG unit completed its third cargo loading on 25 Oct. 2024.
The cargo has been loaded onto the BW Pavilion and is setting sail for NFE’s operation in Puerto Rico, NFE said 25 Oct. in an official statement.
The unit is producing at or above its nameplate capacity of 1.4 million tonnes per annum (mtpa), the company said.
“We are excited that we have achieved full nameplate performance and believe there is room for further production gains as we continue to commission our facility. Now that we have reached full production, our focus is on the continuous reliability and production of our installation,” NFE Senior Vice President FLNG Operations Barry Clayton said in the statement.
“This is a significant milestone for our FLNG unit and team, and we are very pleased with the progress we have made to date,” Clayton said.
