(Energy Analytics Institute, 29.Apr.2022) — Argentina’s Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources for the Province of Neuquén visited with Phoenix Global Resources together with Gas y Petróleo del Neuquén S.A. to discuss activities related to the unconventional exploitation of the Vaca Muerta formation in the Mata Mora Norte area.
During the visit, ministry officials toured the plant that will treat and condition oil and gas from the first wells related to the project, Neuquén Province Energy and Natural Resources Minister Alejandro Rodrigo Monteiro announced 29 April 2022 on LinkedIn.
Three wells of about 2,500 meters of horizontal reach and between 36-37 meter fracture stages will be connected in the coming months, Monteiro said.
