HOUSTON, TEXAS (By Pietro D. Pitts, Editores Latin Petroleum, 11.Sep.2026, Words: 238) — The Venezuelan Petroleum Chamber said it supports recent binational agreements aimed at reactivating the hydrocarbon industry on “a large scale, under the fundamental principles of transparency, economic balance, legal certainty, and sustainability.”
The new operating licenses open a horizon of essential recovery for the Caribbean country.
“These production targets will only be achieved through productive integration. Venezuelan goods and services companies are the indispensable force for transforming international investment into real barrels of oil,” the chamber said on 11 Sep. 2026 in an official statement.
“Our technical expertise, infrastructure, and in-depth knowledge of the entire value chain guarantee the excellence, reliability, and continuity of field operations,” the Venezuelan Petroleum Chamber said.
“National participation is the fundamental tool for ensuring the mutual success of investments. We promote transparent integration that guarantees technology transfer, training and retention of specialized talent, and job creation,” the chamber said. “Integrating Venezuela’s productive sector ensures the operational viability of international projects and transforms oil tankers into resources for education, infrastructure, and sustainable well-being.”
The Venezuelan Petroleum Chamber continued:
“Our affiliated companies embrace this global challenge with complete responsibility. We provide comprehensive solutions governed by strict regulatory compliance and the highest quality standards, solidifying our position as a crucial pillar for Venezuela’s prosperity.”
