PANAMA CITY, PANAMA (By Piero Stewart, Energy Analytics Institute, 10.Mar.2026, Words: 153) — Venezuela’s interim president Delcy Rodríguez met with authorities from the country’s hydrocarbons sector as part of efforts to strengthen trade alliances with international partners with an aim on enhancing Venezuela’s capacity once again as a global energy leader.
During the meeting, Rodríguez reported they reviewed the strategic guidelines for the petrochemical sector, which dubbed “a fundamental sector for the transformation of raw materials and the diversification of the national economy.”
