PANAMA CITY, PANAMA (By Piero Stewart, Energy Analytics Institute, 8.Dec.2025, Words: 145) — Officials with Trinidad and Tobago’s Ministry Energy and Energy Industries (MEEI) met with executives from Touchstone Exploration (Trinidad) Limited.
At the meeting held on 8 Dec. 2025 at the MEEI International Waterfront Complex in Port-of-Spain, Touchstone updated ministry executives on its ongoing operations and future plans in Trinidad and Tobago.
“This meeting allowed for both parties to reaffirm their shared commitment to sustainable development of the country’s onshore resources and processing facilities,” the MEEI said on 8 Dec. 2025 in an official statement.
“Touchstone provided a brief update on its activities across the acreage it operates, acknowledging the progress achieved since first production from the Ortoire Block and reiterating the company’s focus on responsible development, operational efficiency, and long-term investment,” the MEEI said.
