Semar, FGR and SSPC arrest executives and persons involved in illegal fuel market

MEXICO CITY, MEXICO (By Fidencio Casillas, Energy Analytics Institute, 6.Sep.2025, Words: 175) — In a coordinated operation, derived from an investigation process that is still ongoing, personnel from the Ministry of the Navy (Semar), the Attorney General’s Office (FGR) and the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC), arrested businessmen and public servants allegedly related to the illicit fuel market.

In coordinated operations carried out in recent days as a result of investigative work, elements of the Semar, FGR and SSPC carried out various arrest warrants against people related to the illicit fuel market (MIC), among which businessmen and public servants are located.
