PANAMA CITY, PANAMA (Piero Stewart, Energy Analytics Institute, 29.May.2025, Words: 228) — Venezuela’s executive vice president and hydrocarbon minister Delcy Rodríguez said state-owned company Petróleos de Venezuela C.A. (PDVSA) continues to operate without issues after termination of Chevron Corporation‘s General License No. 41B issued by the US government.

“I want to tell you that, at this time, at 12:15pm, on 29 May 2025, the fields Petroboscán, Petropiar, Petroindependencia, Petrojunín, Petrosucre, Petroquiriquire, Petroregional del Lago and Cardón IV are in full production. PDVSA workers maintain their production plan, despite the fact that both PDVSA and its B partners are victims of unilateral coercive measures,” Rodríguez said on 29 May 2025 during the 3rd edition of Expo Fedeindustria 2025 in Venezuela.
