MEXICO CITY, MEXICO (Fidencio Casillas, Energy Analytics Institute, 9.May.2025, Words: 216) — Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex) has reportedly addressed and contained leaks in the pipeline that transports crude oil from the Akal-C Platform to the Dos Bocas maritime terminal (TMDB by its Spanish acronym).
These leaks were contained by installing 2 metal clamps, Pemex said on 9 May 2025 in an official statement. The related work concluded on 6 May 2025, the company said without providing more details.
