Reset Energy Awarded 250 MMscf/d Nitrogen Rejection Unit for Permian Basin

HOUSTON, TEXAS (Editors at Energy Analytics Institute, 4.Mar.2025) — Reset Energy has been awarded the design and fabrication of a 250 million standard cubic feet per day (MMscf/d) Nitrogen Rejection Unit (NRU) in the Permian Basin. 

This large-scale project will provide industry-leading nitrogen rejection capabilities while supporting the operator’s goals of enhancing process performance, Reset announced on 4 Mar. 2025 in an official statement.

With the addition of the Reset-designed NRU to their facility, the client will achieve efficient nitrogen removal and deliver a high-quality residue gas product, while ensuring enhanced visibility and control over the process.

Reset’s nitrogen rejection equipment package has been specifically designed to handle the robust operational demands of this large-scale facility. Reset’s flexible and innovative design was key in securing this project. The solution also demonstrates Reset’s expertise in creating tailored systems capable of managing complex operational requirements, the company said in the statement.
