CARACAS, VENEZUELA (Piero Stewart, Energy Analytics Institute, 18.Dec.2024, Words: 385) — ExxonMobil Corporation, with the previous announcement of the Hammerhead and Longtail projects offshore Guyana, looks to take the total number of developments producing in the prolific deepwater offshore Stabroek Block to 8 by 2030.
Hammerhead could start producing by 2029, assuming its final investment decision (FID) is taken in 2025. The expecting timing around Longtail and its expected FID and start dates have yet to be revealed.
