PetroEcuador’s Tres Bocas Station Receives BT Zamora Vessel with 225,000 bbls of Fuel

(Piero Stewart, Energy Analytics Institute, 11.Dec.2024) — EP PetroEcuador‘s Tres Bocas Station received a 40,000 metric ton vessel with 225,000 bbls of fuel destined to national consumption.

EP PetroEcuador continues with efforts to increase fuel inventories in the southern parts of Ecuador in order to timely meet the demand for fuel in the domestic market, the company said 11 Dec. 2024 in an official statement.

To this end, on 10 Nov. 2024, the Tres Bocas Station in Guayas received the BT Zamora ship from Flopec EP with 40,000 tons of dead weight and a total of 225,000 bbls of fuel comprise of the following: 100,000 bbls of Nafta Ron 80, 45,000 bbls of High Octane Ron 95 Naphtha and 80,000 of Premium Diesel. 

The tanker is slated to complete its unloading operations by 13 Nov. 2024.
