— Argentina granted the El Trapial Este hydrocarbon concession to Chevron. The deal implies the generation of new jobs for people from Neuquén in Rincón de los Sauces and the area of influence, Neuquén Governor Omar Gutierrez announced 9 Apr. 2022 on Twitter.
Ecuador
— In 2021, EP PetroEcuador reported avg. production of 372,609 b/d and revenues from the sale of crude ol and derivatives of $12.1bn, the state oil co. reported in its annual accountability report.
