Production of unconventional barrels from the Vaca Muerta formation and tight shale amounted to about 222,000 b/d in Feb. 2022, representing 39% of total production for the mth in Feb. 2022.

— Neuquén Province’s Governor Omar Gutiérrez participated in the official inauguration of the Argentina Oil & Gas (AOG2022) event in Buenos Aires. The official said 21 Mar. 2022 reiterated over Twitter that there was a need to rapidly expand the hydrocarbons transportation capacity produced in the Neuquén Basin.
