— Argentina’s oil production rose during Feb. 2022 to 571,000 b/d, its highest mark since Dec. 2011, Energy Secretariat Darío Martínez said 21 Mar. 2022 over Instagram. Production of unconventional barrels from the Vaca Muerta formation and tight shale amounted to about 222,000 b/d in Feb. 2022, representing 39% of total production for the mth in Feb. 2022.
— Neuquén Province’s Governor Omar Gutiérrez participated in the official inauguration of the Argentina Oil & Gas (AOG2022) event in Buenos Aires. The official said 21 Mar. 2022 reiterated over Twitter that there was a need to rapidly expand the hydrocarbons transportation capacity produced in the Neuquén Basin.
