— Venezuela’s President Nicolás Maduro is advocating a search for peaceful solutions to settle the differences between the parties involved in the conflict in Ukraine, the OPEC country’s Ministry of Information and Communication announced 21 Feb. 2022 in a stmt on its website. “Dialogue and non-interference are guarantees of peace”, Maduro said in the stmt.
— The BODs of Pan American (NASDAQ: PAAS) (TSX: PAAS) approved a 20% boost in the cash dividend to $0.12/shr common based on its new dividend policy, the co. said 24 Feb. 2022 in an official stmt. The policy adds a variable amount to a base dividend of $0.10/shr common paid on a quarterly basis.
