(Energy Analytics Institute, 24.Dec.2020) — Bolivia announced discovery of more than 1 trillion cubic feet (Tcf) of natural gas at the Boicobo Sur X-1 well located in the Huacaya region of Chuquisaca.
Approximately $74mn was invested in the drilling of the well, Bolivia’s Ministry of Hydrocarbons and Energy announced 24 December 2020 in an official statement.
The production phase is scheduled to begin at the end of 2021, the ministry said.
