Pemex’s Oil And Gas Output Fall Sequentially In October 2018

Pemex, as the state oil company is known, reported crude oil + condensate production of 1,986 thousand barrels per day (Mb/d) in October 2018, down sequentially by 75 Mb/d or 3.6% compared to 2,061 Mb/d in September 2018, and down year-over-year by 177 Mb/d or 8.2% compared to 2,163 Mb/d in Oct. 2017.

In terms of just crude oil, Pemex reported production of 1,764 Mb/d in October 2018, down sequentially by 61 Mb/d or 3.3% compared to 1,825 Mb/d in September 2018, and down year-over-year by 138 Mb/d or 7.3% compared to 1,902 Mb/d in Oct. 2017.

Natural Gas

Pemex also reported natural gas output of 4,895 million cubic feet per day (MMcf/d) in October 2018, down sequentially by 18 MMcf/d or 0.4% compared to 4,913 MMcf/d in September 2018, but up year-over-year by 136 MMcf/d or 2.9% compared to 4,759 MMcf/d in October 2017.
