Mexico’s CFE readies for arrival of Hurricane Polo

MONTERREY, MEXICO (By Isaac Silvestre, Editores Latin Petroleum, 21.Sep.2026, Words: 91) — Mexico’s Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) stated it is fully prepared to address any power outages resulting from Hurricane Polo.

To this end, it has deployed 1,320 electricians, 331 cranes, 445 light vehicles, a communications vehicle, 82 emergency generators, 68 lighting towers, and a helicopter to respond to potential disruptions, La Jornada reported on 21 Sep. 2026.
