MONTERREY, MEXICO (By Isaac Silvestre, Energy Analytics Institute, 19.Jun.2026, Words: 154) — Mexico’s Ministry of Finance and Public Credit (SHCP) has once again reduced the subsidies for diesel and regular gasoline.
The agreement published by the agency in the Official Gazette of the Federation (DOF) states that from Saturday 20 Jun. 2026 through Friday 26 Jun. 2026, the federal government will contribute 20.89% of the special tax on production and services (IEPS) applied to each liter of diesel.
