MEXICO CITY, MEXICO (By Pemex, 20.Nov.2025, Words: 276) — Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex) and the National College of Technical Professional Education (CONALEP by its acronym in Spanish) signed a general collaboration agreement to bring together the experience and technical knowledge of the energy industry with the talent and educational potential of one of the country’s most important educational institutions.

Under this agreement, both institutions will develop specialized training programs, update curricula, and promote social service, professional internships, and dual education, with a view to meeting present and future needs for specialized personnel in the energy industry.

Pemex CEO Víctor Rodríguez Padilla emphasized that this agreement represents a firm step toward strengthening technical training in Mexico and points toward building an energy future that is more capable, professional, and socially committed, “so that every young person can find in Pemex a place to gain practical experience, and so that every worker who is trained in accordance with new technological demands becomes a direct investment in Mexico’s future.”

For his part, CONALEP general director Rodrigo Alejandro Rojas Navarrete emphasized that the signing of this agreement strengthens the commitment to promote the talent of young Mexicans, “which creates opportunities that transform their educational journey and future to move toward a collaboration that benefits our youth and strengthens the country’s strategic sectors.”

It was further reported that this agreement, which does not generate any budgetary commitments, includes clear regulations on transparency, personal data protection, confidentiality, as well as measures to prevent corruption, protect human rights, and carry out audits, in line with the best national and international practices.

Upon signing this agreement, both institutions committed to keeping it in force until Sep. 2030.
