SALVADOR DE BAHIA, BRAZIL (By Pedro Silva, Energy Analytics Institute, 10.Oct.2025, Words: 407) — Argentina’s president Javier Milei met with Eni‘s CEO Claudio Descalzi in Buenos Aires, Argentina to discuss the Italy company’s projects in the South American country and possible future initiatives.
Following the meeting, Eni’s CEO Descalzi and YPF SA president and CEO Horacio Marin signed the final technical project description (FTPD), an important step toward reaching the final investment decision (FID) for a 12 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) liquefied natural gas (LNG) phase of the integrated upstream-midstream Argentina LNG (ARGLNG) project.
