MEXICO CITY, MEXICO (By Fidencio Casillas, Energy Analytics Institute, 19.Jul.2025. Words: 175) — Mexico has 4 primary crude oil grades — Isthmus, Maya, Olmeca (the lightest) and Altamira (the heaviest) — according to state-owned Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex).
