Pemex conducts emergency drills for chemical emergencies [photo journal]

MEXICO CITY, MEXICO (By Fidencio Casillas, Energy Analytics Institute, 11.Jul.2025, Words: 152) — Staff from various Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex) facilities and locations participated in drills related to day dedicated to National Emergency Preparedness and Response to Chemical Emergencies (DINAPREQ by its Spanish acronym).

The activities seek to strengthen response time to chemical emergencies and promote a culture of prevention for the benefit of the population, staff and the environment, Pemex announced on 11 Jul. 2025 in a post on social media.

“At Pemex, we reaffirm our commitment to industrial safety, continuous training and the protection of our facilities as an essential part of our actions in terms of sustainability and social responsibility,” the company said.
