MEXICO CITY, MEXICO (Fidencio Casillas, Energy Analytics Institute, 30.Apr.2025, Words: 490) — Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex) reported average crude oil production of 1,615 thousand barrels per day (Mb/d) in the first-quarter 2025 (1Q:25), of which 1,596 Mb/d was from Pemex and 19 Mb/d was from its business partners, down 11.3% compared to 1,820 Mb/d in the 1Q:24, of which 1,800 Mb/d was from Pemex and 20 Mb/d from its business partners.
Lower crude oil production in the 1Q:25 compared to the 1Q:24 was mainly due to a number of factors.
