PANAMA CITY, PANAMA (Piero Stewart, Energy Analytics Institute, 31.Mar.2025) — Paris-based Établissements Maurel & Prom received a notification from the US Department of the Treasury‘s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) informing the company that the specific license granted in May 2024 for its activities in Venezuela has been revoked.
In connection with this decision notified to M&P on 28 Mar. 2025, OFAC has issued a wind-down license authorizing M&P to undertake transactions necessary to conclude operations previously covered under the now-revoked license.
