PANAMA CITY, PANAMA (Piero Stewart, Energy Analytics Institute, 10.Feb.2025) — Trinidad and Tobago’s Minister of Energy and Energy Industries Stuart Young said offshore wind has been identified as the key driver for the twin-island country’s future green hydrogen economy.
“Trinidad and Tobago stands ready to catalyze our vast global potential by cultivating mutually beneficial partnerships, exchanging best practices and lessons learned, facilitating investment flows, and advancing capacity-building initiatives, with the support of the Global Offshore Wind Alliance (GOWA),” Stuart said on 10 Mar. 2025 in an official statement released by the Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries (MEEI).
