HOUSTON, TEXAS (By editors at Energy Analytics Institute, 17.Feb.2025, Words: 198) — Venture Global has notified its long-term customers that its Calcasieu Pass facility will commence commercial operations on 15 Apr. 2025.
The facility will achieve its commercial operation date, or COD, in under 68 months from its Aug. 2019 final investment decision (FID), Venture Global said on 17 Feb. 2025 in an official statement. As a result, Calcasieu Pass ranks amongst the fastest greenfield liquefied natural gas (LNG) projects completed, the company said.
