BOGOTĂ, COLOMBIA (By Ana Sanches, Editores Latin Petroleum, 30.Sep.2026, Words: 145) â Spanish energy company Repsol said its natural gas production in Venezuela remains at 580 million cubic feet per day (MMcf/d) at the field it operates with the Italian company ENI in the Caribbean nation.
The figure, released on 30 Sep. 2026 during the International Oil and Gas Summit in Venezuela and confirmed to Efe by a company source, has not changed since last Mar. when the government of interim president Delcy RodrĂguez signed an agreement with Repsol for the exploitation of CardĂłn IV.
In Feb., Repsol reported it was preparing to “restore and resume” daily operations in Venezuela after receiving the licenses that allow it to operate in the country.
