Electricity outage in Agua Blanca impacts at least 80 families

CARACAS, VENEZUELA (By Piero Stewart, Editores Latin Petroleum, 18.Sep.2026, Words: 139) — Some 80 families residing in the Agua Blanca sector of the San José parish in the Valencia municipality have been without electricity for 48 hours following the failure of 2 transformers.

Gabriela Gómez, the community spokesperson for energy and gas issues, said reports submitted through the VenApp application have not received clear responses that would allow them to resolve their situation, El Carabobeño reported on 18 Sep. 2026.

Gómez explained that this outage particularly affects a population comprised mostly of senior citizens who are suffering from food spoilage and the high temperatures.
