Mexico sends aid to Venezuela after 2 earthquakes hit Caribbean country

MEXICO CITY, MEXICO (By Fidencio Casillas, Energy Analytics Institute, 25.Jun.2026, Words: 125) — Mexico’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has contacted the Venezuelan government regarding relief efforts in the aftermath of 2 earthquakes that took place on 24 Jun. 2026.

“Our solidarity with the people of Venezuela,” Mexico’s president Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo said on 25 Jun. 2026 during her morning presser.

“I have already instructed them to prepare the necessary aid,” Sheinbaum said, referring to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“For now, they have requested support with specialized rescue and medical personnel. Mexico is and always will be in solidarity,” she said.
