Said action marks the third such operation in just 2 weeks, the news agency reported on 22 Dec. 2025.

This comes just a week after US president Donald Trump revealed plans of a ‘blockade’ of all oil tankers under sanctions entering and leaving the lone OPEC country in the Latin America and Caribbean region.
