CORPOELEC reports act on 3 transmission tower in Anzoategui state

PANAMA CITY, PANAMA (By Piero Stewart, Energy Analytics Institute, 15.Nov.2025, Words: 224) — Venezuela’s National Electric System (SEN) was reportedly the victim of act of sabotage on 15 Nov. 2025 that caused the collapse of 3 transmission towers in the Juan Antonio Sotillo municipality of Anzoategui state. 

And, according to the National Electric Corporation (CORPOELEC), the intention of the act was to “destabilize an essential public service for the people of eastern Venezuela.”
