MEXICO CITY, MEXICO (By Fidencio Casillas, Energy Analytics Institute, 24.Oct.2025, Words: 201) — Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex) has stabilized the extraction of liquid fossil fuels at 1.645 million barrels per day (MMb/d), according to the company’s CEO Dr. Víctor Rodríguez Padilla.
And, Pemex looks to increase this liquid production to 1.8 MMb/d, Padilla said on 24 Oct. 2025 during his appearance before the Chamber of Deputies’ Energy Commission to present the progress, results, and challenges of the Mexico City-based company.
