PANAMA CITY, PANAMA (By Piero Stewart, Energy Analytics Institute, 21.Oct.2025, Words: 175) — Venezuela’s executive vice president and minister of hydrocarbons Delcy Rodríguez participated in the ExpoForo Empresarial Venezuela Productive 2030 where she highlighted the importance of the Caribbean country’s hydrocarbons engine aimed at generating increased foreign currency inflows.
Rodríguez also highlighted that oil activity thus far in 2025 has grown around 16% owing to the arrival of investors in both the crude oil and natural gas sectors, which is reflected in its contribution to the gross domestic product (GDP), she added.
