YPFB eyes investments of $26.8mn in Pando department in fiscal year 2025

BOGOTA, COLOMBIA (By Ana Sanches, Energy Analytics Institute, 13.Oct.2025, Words: 310) — State-owned Yacimientos Petrolíferos Fiscales Bolivianos (YPFB) eyes a budget of $26.8mn for the current fiscal year for the hydrocarbon sector in the department of Pando, where it will prioritiz exploration, distribution, and marketing activities.

“Of the total amount programmed for this year, $25.97 million is being invested in exploration activities, with the Tomachi-X1 and Tomachi-X2 projects standing out,” YPFB’s corporate planning manager Danny Roca Jiménez said on 13 Oct. 2025 in an official company statement.
