BOGOTA, COLOMBIA (By Ana Sanches, Energy Analytics Institute, 14.Aug.2025, Words: 235) — The secretary general of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, said the seizure of a wide variety of explosives in the state of Anzoátegui comes as part of ongoing investigations and operations to dismantle alleged terrorist plans in Venezuela backed by the opposition.
Cabello said the operation was the result of intelligence work that began in the state of Monagas and that led the authorities to raid a shed in Anzoátegui.
