HOUSTON, TEXAS (By Isaac Silvestre, Energy Analytics Institute, 7.Aug.2025, Words: 281) — Cheniere Energy, Inc. and JERA Co., Inc. jointly announced that Cheniere Marketing, LLC and JERA have entered into a long-term liquefied natural gas (LNG) sale and purchase agreement (SPA).
Per the SPA, JERA has agreed to purchase 1 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) of LNG from Cheniere Marketing on a free-on-board (FOB) basis from 2029 through 2050.
