HOUSTON, TEXAS (By Isaac Silvestre, Energy Analytics Institute, 15.Jul.2025, Words: 296) â Port of Corpus Christi customers moved 51.1 million tons (Mt) of commodities through the Corpus Christi Ship Channel in the second-quarter 2025 (2Q:25). The tonnage marked a record 2Q for the port, besting the prior record of 50.6 Mt set in the 2Q:24.
The first-half 2025 (1H:25) also proved the best 1H in the history of the port, with port customers moving 102.4 Mt of commodities. The previous 1H record saw 99.5 Mt transit the ship channel in the 1H:24.
