PANAMA CITY, PANAMA (Piero Stewart, Energy Analytics Institute, 24.Mar.2025) — Trinidad and Tobago’s Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries (MEEI) will be hosting a Roadshow at TGS‘ operational headquarters in Houston, Texas, from 9am–12pm on 1 Apr. 2025.
The event offer interested person and/or companies with opportunities to engage directly with the permanent secretary of the MEEI and bid round team members as they promote the 2025 Deep Water Competitive Bidding Round and highlight investment opportunities in Trinidad and Tobago, the MEEI announced on 24 Mar. 2025 in an official statement.

2025 Deep Water Competitive Bidding Round
The government of Trinidad is inviting stakeholders’ participation in its Deep Water Competitive Bidding Round 2025.
This bidding round contains 26 offshore blocks, namely, Block 24, Block 26, TTDAA 1, TTDAA 10, TTDAA 11, TTDAA 12, TTDAA 13, TTDAA 15, TTDAA 16, TTDAA 2, TTDAA 24, TTDAA 25, TTDAA 26, TTDAA 27, TTDAA 28, TTDAA 29, TTDAA 3, TTDAA 30, TTDAA 31, TTDAA 32, TTDAA 4, TTDAA 5, TTDAA 6, TTDAA 7, TTDAA 8 and TTDAA 9. These blocks are located along the eastern and northern coasts of Trinidad.
The Deep-Water Competitive Bidding Round was opened on 27 Jan. 2025 with the deadline for submission of bids being 12 noon on 2 Jul. 2025. Successful bids will be announced 3 months following the close of bidding, according to the MEEI.
