MEXICO CITY, MEXICO (By Fidencio Casillas, Energy Analytics Institute, 11.Mar.2025, Words: 153) — Iberdrola Mexico commissioned a Smart Solar photovoltaic self-consumption system installed for Bayer at its vegetable seed production plant in Chiapas, Yax-Nah (‘green house’ in Mayan).
The system has an installed capacity of 300 kW with 660 photovoltaic modules capable of generating 552 MWh of clean energy per year and will prevent the release of approximately 233 tonnes of CO2 every year.
